Housing scheme for care leavers a first for West Sussex

A housing project for young people who have been in care in West Sussex has been given the green light by West Sussex County Council’s Cabinet on 22nd January 2021.

£1 million National Lottery boost to help 2000 more care leavers build independent lives and influence change
The National House Project has been awarded a £1 million grant from The National Lottery Community Fund to help 2,000 more care leavers secure homes, build independence, and shape services, expanding its proven support program across England, Scotland, and Wales while amplifying young people’s voices.
